This app is the glue that connects the Logitech Media Server installation on my Mac with the otherwise headless piCorePlayer. Beats the heck out of using the LMS web interface. Dr web serial. It took me a little bit to realize exactly what LMS was good for, but after a week of using iPeng, I’ve realized I can get back features that were axed from iTunes. In the right panel, check the boxes for Logitech Options and Logitech Options Daemon. After you check the boxes, select Quit Now to restart the application and allow the changes to take effect. If you already clicked ‘Deny’, please do the following to allow access manually: Launch System Preferences.
Logitech Media Server For Mac
I'm running Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6. Recently my squeezebox stopped working because I cannot get Logitech Media Server to run. I click 'Start Server', and it says it's starting, then immediately stops. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no change. I also installed the new version 7.8 of LMS.
How can I troubleshoot this? The only thing I believe that has changed is that I had to reinstall the OS awhile back (I have some intermittent system issues).
Thanks for any assistance you can give me. I'm not super familiar with Mac computers as I grew up and worked in the IT field on PC.
